Search Instructions

• How do I use the Search Function?
  • The Basic Search option allows you to search by Item Name, Item Number, Description, detailed description, Manufacturer part number or Manufacturer name.
    1. To conduct a basic search, enter a search word/s in the search text box and click on search.
    2. If you have too many returned items narrow your search by using more description.
  • Not finding what you are looking for?
    • Exclude words by using a - (minus) sign in front of the word you would like to exclude.
    • Try using a * (asterisk) to do a wild card search.
    • Separate words with a space to search for all of the words.
    • Don't use plurals when searching, it may limit your result.
    • Examples (Search text in BOLD):
      • buoy -red This would give you all buoy's that are NOT red
      • cable steer* This would return all types of steering cables
      • *perko* hinge This would return every hinge made by Perko Manufacturing.
      • red float vest This would return all float vests that are red
      • socks Try using the non-plural sock instead.
